Sam Chesterton is Vice President, Business Development, for RGA’s Global Financial Solutions (GFS) unit in the U.K. and Head of Market & Transaction Services for GFS EMEA. His responsibilities include client relationship management and the structuring, execution, and maintenance of longevity and funded reinsurance transactions in the U.K. and EMEA.
Sam joined RGA in 2016 as Director, Investment Solutions, for GFS where he was responsible for the pricing and structuring of reinsurance and acquisitions which incorporated market risk transfer.
Prior to RGA, Sam was a consultant for Willis Towers Watson in their Life Insurance division, focusing on M&A, outsourcing arrangements, and software solutions.
Sam received a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (with honours) from the University of Bristol and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA).
