Reinsurance Group of America Announces Ray Kleeman as New Chief Human Resources Officer
ST. LOUIS, Apr. 4, 2022 – Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (RGA), a leading global life and health reinsurer, announced today that Ray Kleeman has joined the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, replacing Gay Burns who is retiring. Kleeman will serve on the Executive Committee and will be based in RGA’s Chesterfield headquarters.

In his most recent role, Kleeman served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Centene Corporation in St. Louis, where he was responsible for leading their HR business partners, talent acquisition, HR operations and compliance, employee relations, and international HR. Prior to joining Centene in 2017, Kleeman served 12 years with Monsanto Company (now Bayer) holding several global positions including divisional HR responsibility for their Crop Protection and International Seed & Traits businesses, as well as leading HR for R&D and corporate HR functions.
Kleeman holds a PhD and MS in Organizational Psychology from Saint Louis University, and he serves on the board of the St. Louis Community College Foundation and the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis.
