Raajeev Bhayana is Chief Underwriter on RGA's Global Health team. Based in Singapore, he provides underwriting and product development support for health initiatives in RGA’s key markets, and he is also responsible for helping drive RGA’s health underwriting philosophy globally.
Raajeev has more than 17 years of insurance experience gained across multiple markets, including in the United States, the United Kingdom, India, Sri Lanka, and Southeast Asia. His broad health insurance background covers case underwriting, product development, underwriting guideline design, audits, training, and medical claims adjudication.
Prior to joining RGA, Raajeev worked for Swiss Re in underwriting and audit roles, where he was responsible for the development of a global health underwriting manual.
Raajeev received a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences degree and is an Associate of both the Academy of Life Underwriting (AALU) and the Life Management Institute (ALMI).
