Patrick Cheung is Senior Vice President, Head of Longevity Product, in RGA’s Global Financial Solutions (GFS) unit. The team's primary role is to price and execute longevity-based transactions in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Longevity Pricing, responsible for the longevity pricing function in the United Kingdom.
Patrick joined RGA in January 2012 and also served as Senior Pricing Actuary for GFS. Prior to this, Patrick worked as a Product Actuary in Sun Life Financial of Canada, focusing on the pricing and product development of payout annuities and variable annuities. Prior to that role, Patrick was a Pensions Actuary, advising clients on a range of pension issues, including statutory valuation, accounting for pension costs, and de-risking initiatives.
Patrick received a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in financial engineering from Birkbeck, University of London and holds a double undergraduate degree Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Sydney. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA).
