Orla Ward

Orla Ward is Director, Business Development Actuary for EMEA in RGA’s Global Financial Solutions (GFS) unit in the United Kingdom. Her responsibilities include client relationship management and the structuring, execution, and maintenance of U.K. and EMEA longevity, capital motivated, and funded reinsurance transactions. She has been with the company since 2012, originally serving as Pricing Analyst, and has also been involved with GFS small schemes offerings.

Before joining RGA, Orla was a Systems Actuarial Analyst at Irish Life Assurance plc in Dublin, where she was responsible for coding savings and protection products.

Orla received a Bachelor of Science degree in financial mathematics and economics from the University of Galway, Ireland and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
