In his role as Vice President, Fac Underwriting Strategy and Data Analytics, Michael Hill is responsible for leading a team of production underwriters and the underwriting data analytics team, as well as developing and managing client relationships as the regional lead underwriting contact for RGA’s large national accounts. He is based in RGA’s global headquarters in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Michael joined RGA in 2005, spending the last 14 years in RGA’s US Underwriting department. Prior to his current role, Michael has served in a variety of roles that included responsibilities from internal and external audits, to account management focused on delivering e-Underwriting solutions to clients.
Michael is a published author, contributing articles, “NASCAR Safety Improvements Saves Lives,” “The Insurance Implications of Traumatic Brain Injury,” “ALU Exams: Preparation Meets Opportunity”, and “Augmented Underwriting and the Evolving Role of the Underwriter” published in On The Risk. He is the Director of Exams for the Academy of Life Underwriting, leading four teams in the development of the ALU Exams (101, 201, 202, and 301).
Michael received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri and a Master of Business Administration from Maryville University.
