Limin Chen is Executive Director of Regional Underwriting and Business Solutions for RGA in Hong Kong, where he works as part of a team identifying underwriting solutions that assist clients in meeting their strategic, financial and operational objectives. He joined the company in 2015.
Prior to coming to RGA, Limin had more than 18 years of underwriting experience working for a direct insurer and three reinsurers in China, most recently as chief underwriter for China Life Re. He also worked as chief underwriter for Munich Re’s Greater China office, which included the Hong Kong and Taiwan markets.
Limin received a Bachelor of Clinical Medicine degree from Peking University, a Master’s degree in Public Economics from the Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing, and an M.B.A. from Tsinghua University. He is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI) and a Fellow of the Academy of Life Underwriting (FALU).
