RGA Underwriting University I
The Indian insurance industry is evolving rapidly, and the RGA Academy of Continued Education (R.A.C.E) is designed to help professionals keep pace. Training modules can be delivered in group settings and are customized to meet clients' needs and bridge gaps, from offering medical fundamentals to beginning underwriters to sharing insights on abnormal liver tests with mid-career professionals. Every module is led by a highly experienced RGA expert and is up to date.
A first-of-its-kind program, RGA Academy is a virtual training initiative that spans six sessions over three weeks and addresses 12 common underwriting challenges in the Middle East. Presentations are conducted by RGA experts from across the globe with decades of experience. In our inaugural year, more than 120 participants from seven countries attended, representing over 20 insurance companies.
RGA continues to build on a long history of underwriting knowledge sharing in Asia. For example, underwriting experts from RGA Japan have long offered customized training for clients that blends global insight with local market expertise. We have also initiated a highly flexible virtual program in welcomes actuaries and underwriters and addresses between eight to 12 topics over the course of several days.
