Elizabeth Boulanger is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for RGA Life Reinsurance Company of Canada (RGA Canada). In this role, she leads the Finance, Corporate Actuarial, Administration, and Legal teams at RGA Canada and collaborates on the development of strategic and reinsurance solutions for our clients.
Since joining the company in 2007, Elizabeth has served in various roles, including Appointed Actuary and Chief Risk Officer. She has more than 30 years of experience in the life insurance industry, including nearly two decades in direct-to-consumer insurance.
Elizabeth received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from Laval University in Quebec City and is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) and of the Society of Actuaries (FSA). For many years, Elizabeth has volunteered on several professional and industry committees, including a term as the Vice-chair of the CIA Appointed/Valuation Actuary Committee. She is currently a member of the Canadian Actuarial Standards Board.
