Bill is Vice President, Business Development in RGA’s Global Financial Solutions (GFS) unit. The unit is responsible for all of RGA’s financial reinsurance, asset-intensive reinsurance, and bulk longevity business worldwide. In his role, Bill maintains personal contact with about 30 percent of all of the major life insurance groups operating in the United States. Bill is also involved in the conceptualization, development, negotiation, and implementation of capital-oriented transactions with these insurers.
Bill has been a core member of the GFS team and its predecessors since his move to St Louis in 1988. Over the years, Bill has been instrumental in completing all types of financial reinsurance transactions, retrocessions, and asset-intensive transactions. Bill was also a driver of RGA’s entry into the stable value wrap market.
Prior to moving to St Louis, Bill was the Pricing Actuary for BMA Reinsurance in Kansas City.
Bill is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA). He holds Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) and Master of Advanced Studies (M.A.S.) degrees from Georgia State University.
